You Do You!

July 3, 2018

If you’ve ever been to a class at COREFIT, you’ve probably been told “You Do You.”

Sounds simple enough, but there is some thought that goes into those 3 simple words.

You Do You

One day you may feel like you can conquer the world, and you may conquer the workout just as planned. Another day, for no rhyme or apparent reason, you’re on the struggle bus and can’t finish how you want to. And the guy/girl next to you seems to be moving effortlessly.

You Do You. Maybe you need to modify or change up a movement or number of reps.

You Do You. Maybe you’re nursing an injury or just fatigued from what life has thrown at you the last day, week, month, years… and you can’t perform the movements with the same weight you normally do.

You Do You.

The point is that we don’t quit when it gets tough or we can’t seem to keep up.

We may alter the plan a little, but we still work hard.

We don’t keep scores at COREFIT, but that doesn’t mean everyone doesn’t give it their all or offer a little push when needed. If you’re not sure, look around the room after a workout. Everyone is fatigued, sweaty and accomplished.

Regardless of the number or reps, weights used or modifications performed.

EverBODY is different and everyone has different strengths that shine on different days. The one thing we have in common is the effort level we can put forth.  Whether we do full push-ups to the ground or modify with knee assist, we expect quality movements at every level.

You Do You, Well.
