Another Year Stronger: Celebrate your Birthday at COREFIT!


At COREFIT, birthdays aren’t just about cake, candles, and getting older.

They’re about celebrating another year stronger.

Because honestly… why wouldn’t you want to be stronger as you celebrate another trip around the sun?


Strength means being able to carry your groceries without thinking twice. It means getting down on the floor with your grandkids and getting back up again. It means traveling, hiking, dancing, lifting, laughing, trying new things, and continuing to live life fully — no matter what number is on your birthday cake.


We hear it all the time:

“I can’t believe I’m almost 50.”

“I feel old.”

“My body just isn’t what it used to be.”


But here’s the question we love asking at COREFIT:


What’s your REAL feel age?🤔

How old do you FEEL? Not in your head (because we’re all 20 there). But in your BODY. When you wake up. When you go up and down the stairs. When you have a long day of to-dos. How does your body feel?


You know how the weather app says it’s 45 degrees, but the real feel is 38?

Age works the same way.


Sure, your chronological age is the number of years you’ve been alive. But how old does your body actually feel? How willing are you to keep learning, growing, moving, and trying new experiences?


Because we’ve met 70-year-olds with more energy than some 30-year-olds.


And we’ve also met 30-year-olds that do less than some 70-year-olds.



At COREFIT, we ask on your birthday, what’s your REAL FEEL? If you’ve been consistently showing up for yourself, it will be younger than your Actual age!


Some advanced health scans, including the DEXA Scan, can even estimate your metabolic/biological age — essentially how “old” your body functions compared to your actual age. It’s a fun reminder that health isn’t just about the calendar.

Personally? I’m turning 48 this year. My biological age shows 34, and if I’m being honest, my real feel age is pretty close to that.


And you know what? I’m excited about turning 50.


Not because I want more candles… but because 50 represents:


  • 50 years of experiences (more open to trying new things when you FEEL good)

  • 50 years of friendships (some old, some new)

  • 50 years of lessons (some learned, some still learning)

  • 50 years of memories made (another reason to stay strong, to keep those memories sharp 😉)


And with the amount of fit females 50+ that I’m surrounded by, I don’t see any reason to feel “old” just because of a birth year.


And hopefully, with the way I train, move, recover, and care for myself, I’ll have another 40+ quality years ahead creating even more memories from the experiences I choose.


That’s what fitness should do for us.


Not punish us.

Not shrink us.

Not make us obsessed with a number on the scale.


Fitness should help us keep living.


That’s why birthday workouts at COREFIT are some of our favorite days. We celebrate the strength you’ve built, the confidence you’ve gained, the challenges you’ve overcome, and the fact that you’re showing up for yourself. Because you only get one body and one life. You are responsible for making it enjoyable.


Every birthday is proof that you’re still in the game.


Still growing.

Still learning.

Still getting stronger.


So the next time your birthday rolls around, don’t dread the number.


Celebrate it!


Celebrate the body that carries you through life. Celebrate the mind that keeps evolving. Celebrate every rep, every workout, every walk, every healthy choice, every moment you chose yourself.
